DIY : christmas ornaments

So tis the season for... weddings?  Yes, thats right in the middle of the busy Christmas season I was invited to weddings of two close friends.  Of course I was already in the Christmas mood and buying a traditional wedding present was something I just couldn't do in the middle of all the fa la la.  So, i made these -

Christmas ornaments with their wedding invitation cut up in strips for a keepsake.  Everyone always gets a "Our First Christmas" ornament, but I thought this would be a great way to remember that special day in a different way.  I got the idea from Pinterest.  They are very easy to make.

I incorporated their wedding colors into the ornaments.  They both ended up being the same colors: white, black, silver or red.

Ingredients:
One plastic christmas ornament (I got one from Hobby Lobby)
Ribbon (I prefer the kind with wire)
Monogram Lettering from the scrapbook section.  I used large glittery sticker letters.  You can use rhinestones, or multiple letters if you would like to incorporate both names.
Embelishments - I used hair clips (removed clip) and feathers.  Get creative here!
Hot glue for all items that don't stick on their own (or need a little help sticking)
Cut the wedding invitation into strips with crazy scissors and curl them into the ornament

I'm open for business if anyone needs one! :)
