i've recently started following a new blog.. MadeByGirl. I absolutely love what she has done with a few simple cabinets from IKEA. I also love floating cabinets and shelves done right. This girl's style is so simple chic and feminine. If only the hubs would let me accessorize with a little pink or better yet -- if only we had a HOUSE!
What I love most about it is the hardware! How awesome are these? They are probably supposed to go horizontally but i love them vertical. And the gold color is just right... not too brassy.
And the accessories just work... I do think she needs some more height. Possibly stacking more books or a larger sculpture? And its lacking a bit of personal touch. Maybe a picture frame would help with the height as well? What do you think?
